Nice one. Was always my plan to go large eventually that's why I did the restricted test so I wouldnt be tempted before I knew what I was doing!
Couple more years experience and I'll do the same!

ive sold my gts and jet 200 to get one
like everything else you have the money nothing doing, you dont have the money and loads are knocking about
i rang about gavs fugly and they offered me 1200 for my gts in p/x now thats taking the pee
sold it private for a few hundred more it also gives me a stronger postion haggling wise |

how old/what condition was your gts in?
I've got an 18 month old (11,000 km) black gts with minor scratches on sidepanel and mudguard (otherwise ex condition), am wondering how much i coud get for it?

i think this is aimed at me?
mine was a 05 55reg 13,000 mls in very goood condition with a few mods pm exhaust etc and i was asking 1750 and got 1650
as a comparison i wasin a piaggio dealer a couple of week ago(1stmarch) and they had just taken in an 06 plate silver gts against a brand new mp3 400 i dont know what the milage was(but it looked well used to me) and i was told they gave 1600 and they would retail it out around the 2300-2400 mark

I'll have to have a good think about it, the fuoco is definately calling...big loan time coming up me thinks 
Can get it new from here for £4800, the same place I got my current gts, still get full piaggio warranty etc, not sure how they get the price so cheap though: http://www.tacbikes.com/index.html
incidently, when selling private, what are the minimum requirements most peope have when letting people test ride ie. so they dont just ride of into the sunset?

Min before anyone takes anything for a test ride is full amount of cash in your hands - no cash no ride........I've nearly been caught out with a guy smashing up a freshly restored GP200 with only 6 miles on the clock I was lucky as he stumped up cash in full even though it was his mate test riding it for him who smashed it up!

Nice one gav, I am thinking about one myself!!!! I have seen a salvage one which is on a 07 plate with 289 miles on the clock! it has damaged lower plastics and the left hand side damaged, the bit of plastic next to the headlight, its up for £2200 which seems a bargain!
