Took the wife out for the first time as a pillion this evening. See what you mean about the footpegs! Wife is very small ( 5 foot nothing) and so had trouble reaching the footpegs. If she sits on my back it seems to be Ok! Had a scary moment with a seagull - I was in his flight path and he wasn't going to move.
Went to change setting on shock absorber b4 we left, but one side had seized up and the C spanner was totally useless. Any ideas on how to shift it? |

No its the exhaust side and is set on notch 1, the other side which I find harder to get at moves freely. Maybe a big pair of mole grips on it might budge it. |

Managed to move the suspension, removed the side skirt and got a pair of footprints on the shock adjuster and gave them a whack with a mallet, with a little help also from some anti-seize penetrating oil it moved round.
Niffy were your side bars already fitted or did you buy them if so how much? |

i'm the same, never see myself riding a geared bike so i took the auto only test on my gilera runner vx125 and then traded for the GTs, if i fancy a geared bike i'll just do another test but i can't see it happening....
would've been alot easier if i'd simply done my test in the 80's ![Rolling Eyes](images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif) _________________

I've been driving for 14 years and scootering for just two years but back in April I took the A2 Auto test with NO lessons and passed!!!
If you do the auto test and have been riding a while there really is no need for lessons as long as you follow everything in this guide: Click here
I practiced & perfected all of that and saved myself £300 as that's what a 2 day training course would've cost. ![Cool](images/smiles/icon_cool.gif) _________________

Weather looking good for the weekend so going to take the GTS on its first proper journey down to Southampton to see The Who. Wife's a bit nervous so going on the A roads not the motorway. |
