I just put in an NGK iridium plug and a new cap, cant say I can notice any difference at all 
maybe I put mine in backwards or something or am just not as "At one with my Vespa" as you guys are. But they are not hugely expensive so give it a try and see what you think. Maybe wait til it needs replacing though |

What does this mean? Sorry for my ignorance, I got my plug off Tom, but haven't fitted it yet was going to have a go tonight... couldn't see any little srew with it though or is this just on the CR9 & not the CR8?

All it was is on top of the plug it has the little bit for the Ht lead to clip on....
Not just the thread on the plug............ |

It could be me being a forgetful bugger and not adding one as they dont come with them from NGK... but im sure i did it to them all?
On the top of the sparkplug... does it have a screw thread sticking up, or a gold end? |
