Bit early to finalise everything but I was thinking we should aim to be at the ferry port around 9am as we have to check in at 9.30am this means we'd have to leave Travellodge just after 8am to give us time to fill up before we get on the ferry ( if we all have full tanks then there is no pissing about on the other side!!)
What do you guys think.....?

Just think a few weeks time it will be us on this road..........
But if we've got the satnav route sorted then we should just miss it and have all our bones in one piece as it certainly rattles you to bits if you get on the cobblestone road by mistake !!

i am now thinking that travelling down from the midlands on thursday morning may be a tad on the ambitious side (well actually, everyone i've told thinks i'm a mad bastard ), so i'm probs gonna book a room at canterbury dunkirk, but before i do, just wondered if anyone had spare capacity in their room (dont mind the pull-out), and i could share cost |

Think I've got a twin room (will need to check) your more than welcome to travel down and stay in my room - but you'll need ear plugs cos I snore (big time)

Cheers Ian, even if you've got a double, i think they always have a bed settee, and dont worry about snoring, my missus quite often gives me a poke for keeping her awake. Any change to that, let me know. Ta . When you get chance, PM me your mobile number. |
