thought i'd post a list of things we need to take with us on our little euro jolly so we don't forget
passport
E111 medical card
euro breakdown cover
euros
it also wouldn't be a bad idea to get european roaming on the mobile so as not to get a big bill
anything i've missed? _________________

1st.
Bog roll.....the french have a tendancy to have bog roll that is more like tracing paper and is not soft on arse.......sorry but you did ask
2nd
Ear plugs - trust me anyone who camps near me will definatley need them if I've been on the whiskey
3rd
Mossy repelant spray and suncream - oh yes I'm optimistic it's gonna be sunny
4th
Patience - cos we will get lost Sat Nav or not - but it makes a whole lot of fun
5th
Spare gloves - cos if my optimisum runs out it pays to have a warm dry pair of gloves for the trip back
Oh and on a serious note best take your driving license and insurance documents and your ferry crossing referance number |

Dug my little flip up army surplus camping stove today and bought the old parafin tablets so I can have a nice cuppa tea first thing in the morning .......much prefer this way of cooking than a gas stove after seeing a lad in Southport go up in flames a few years ago whilst trying to get his gas stove to work IN his tent

yeah but changing a gas canister whilst in a tent is a BIG no-no, and as for using a stove inside a tent _________________
