it also wouldn't be a bad idea to get european roaming on the mobile so as not to get a big bill Wink

Bog roll.....the french have a tendancy to have bog roll that is more like tracing paper and is not soft on arse.......sorry but you did ask Rolling Eyes

2nd
Ear plugs - trust me anyone who camps near me will definatley need them if I've been on the whiskey Embarassed

3rd
Mossy repelant spray and suncream - oh yes I'm optimistic it's gonna be sunny Laughing

4th
Patience - cos we will get lost Sat Nav or not - but it makes a whole lot of fun

5th
Spare gloves - cos if my optimisum runs out it pays to have a warm dry pair of gloves for the trip back Cool

Oh and on a serious note best take your driving license and insurance documents and your ferry crossing referance number Wink

Dug my little flip up army surplus camping stove today and bought the old parafin tablets so I can have a nice cuppa tea first thing in the morning Laughing .......much prefer this way of cooking than a gas stove after seeing a lad in Southport go up in flames a few years ago whilst trying to get his gas stove to work IN his tent Sad

yeah but changing a gas canister whilst in a tent is a BIG no-no, and as for using a stove inside a tent Rolling Eyes

Yeh Rich got to agree.........the lad was scared for life and I met up with him several years later and he was still having treatment for burns Crying or Very sad
