in regards to camping gear. im going to minimise mine by buyng a new tent that folds down more.

i want to take my air bed. what do you reckon i need a good nights kip there quite heavy but small

what will everyone else be taking

i've got one similar to that but with a built in foot pump was about £9 at a camping shop

watch how thick the airbed is, too high from the ground and your feet could be touching the skin of the tent which can lead to water coming in.....

i was going to order the coleman avior tomorrow as amazon do it for £60

i think ill have to get myself something smaller as long as its comfortable Cool

the one i've got is the short one, they do other models, full length, slim etc, my main concern was space.

mav let me know how that works out as use the old airbed but i do sit a bit high up in the coleman Shocked Confused not sure it would be comfortable enough for me to sweden and back Rolling Eyes

I also have one of them self inflatting ones, they comfy and stop the cold from the ground, but if u 2 up on scoot not to good as they take up a lot of space Very Happy

i did a dummy run this morning

my sleeping bag, tent, poles AND big air bed fit with room to spare

obviousely i dont want to carry excess weight but it doesnt feel that heavy at all so if i cant get that air bed thing ill just take the one ive got

its comfy as well which is always an added bonus Cool

ive also tested it with the top box and ive got room

just need to sort this coolant pipe as im not happy with it with all the weight
