Put a new pilot on the gt before leaving for Kelso and I now have a slow puncture. Don't really want to pay for a new tyre, so I bought some of that emergency tyre repair.
Well my dilemma is whether I should put some preventative slime in and hope it holds or put in this emergency stuff and carry on riding? As I said I don't really want to buy another new tyre and it is a very slow puncture!

probably a leaky valve, tighten the valve core or just needs the rim cleaning and tyre reseating, could be a porus rim, heard of that before, but whatever it is just take it back to whoever fitted it for them to sort it, then once it's sorted and your happy THEN add the ultraseal Cool

Took it back to the shop today and it appears it may have been leaking at the rim, all done now! Having trouble finding a place that stocks Ultra-seal round this way though! Did buy some of that emergency repair aersol, thought it might be a good idea as we don't have a spare tyre. Rolling Eyes

Most places did have Slime, but I tried this before and was told it was as good as useless, and I must admit when this last tyre was changed it was just like a green water, never tried Ultra seal, so gonna go with that this time. Thanks for the link Wink

We sell both and they both seem as good as each other really... Slime has a wider product range is used by lots of MX and mountain bikers alike...

With slime you have to make sure you get the right one as theres different types for different tyres... tubeless on looks exactly like ultraseal but green (has loads of binder flecks in it)

My cars got Ultraseal but bike has slime Rolling Eyes Havent had a puncture in either so both get my vote... well for now anyway Wink
