It's been mentioned before I know but.......
If you have not got one just get one, not tomorrow but today! I have never bothered as I think they look a bit soft but last week when logging in to epay I realised that I had bought one during one of my sleep walking episodes (god you should see some of the shit I have here!). It came today, i fitted it and wow what a difference. I really cannot understand why they are/were not standard, spend millions in R&D on the emissions and then miss off a bit of plastic that improves aerodynamics by about 8%(my estimate). Just get one if you have not got one. |

Have to admit that I have a differing view on this one...
Bought an official Vespa small screen (on the recommendation of posts on various forums) fitted it and found that wind buffeting increased, the noise inside my lid increased and generally found the whole experience terrible.
Took the fly screen off after a month and found that at high speed motorway cruising the GTS handled much, much better.
Of course, I am assuming the small official screen and the sports screen are one and the same thing?
The screen is now for sale if anyone wants one. |

The small screen may cause a bit more noise and buffeting, but with a set of ear plugs and a big cheesy grin on your face as you overtake the guy without one fitted is more than worth it

After fitting my vespa sport -cruiser flyscreen I got instant 7mph on speedo (90mph instead of 83mph) and scoot has better acceleration over 50mph. |

I like the idea of squeezing that extra bit of speed out of the scooter! Can you get a smoked or tinted version? So it doesn't look too mod! |

I have fitted my genuine vespa flyscreen twice and removed it again, I found that allthough it is an improvement on topspeed it feels unstable and seems to catch crosswinds on the motorway.I have decided to cut it down a few inches and see what its like.
Hopefully it wont be £65 down the drain. _________________ Live Slow Die young !

I have a friend who is tinting my screen at the moment at work, this is using the film method - apparently he is having right dramas and has done it four times now trying to get it perfect. The perspex just keeps attracting dust particles through static. If all else fails i will try and spray it but i was relunctant to do this at first in case it turned out shite. I will post photos as soon as it is hopefully done .........3 weeks and counting!! - mates eh! only kidding Al if you are reading this! _________________
