In a word - Unforgettable 
Best week I have had in many years.
The scenery was simply stunning. Weather was mainly excellent, with a few intermitent showers at Ben Nevis & Glencoe.
The Rally was superb, very friendly & again great weather and what has got to be the best location for a Scooter Rally.
Well done to Mark (Smudger) for coming with us on his 1st ever Rally, yet another top bloke in the fold

As said .. Unforgettable , this is deff the best tour i have done on my scooter i for one will be doing more of this type of thing in the future , weather wasnt as bad as we thought , and once we got away from Glen nevis site we had sun and open roads , where the GTS proved its self , for the ultimate scooter it is , hills, bends, etc it coped with whatever we were doing,
as always great friends , laughs , pity there wasnt more peeps but i know some had work stopping them going ............
as for Smudger,big respect for such along rally, and joining a group you didnt know ... hope to see you again and up for doing another tour / rally.
by the time i got home we had done 1350 miles...............
already planning another Scotland part 2 2009.

i am so glad you guys had a great time, i cant tell you how gutted i was everything seemed against me to go, tyre on scooter, kids getting sorted on time , and then get a phone call to be at work on the sunday due to all the idiots running round london with knifes and all leave was cancelled   in the end went to little veteran vespa club rally in dorking was good but nowere near the fun you lot had , will be up fror 2009

Very envious, looks like my kind of trip.
I'm looking at doing a long haul next year myself maybe even Belgium - Holland - Germany etc taking in a German or Austrian rally but may rethink and come with you guys to Scotland instead.

Top few days, touring was fantastic, toped off by a great Friday night that the Saturday just couldn't live up to.
Top group of peeps, defo up for doing tour part 2 next year!
Also got a pass to come to Mersea Island in Sept, mind you Mersea is only 28 miles nearer home than the Isle of Bute  so I may need to think about that if you guys are not going for the full weekend. Let me know.

I ended up at the Shed Rally, which was great, but the scenery was nothing compared to what you people enjoyed |
