Goonerman -- all 3 of those plates are illegal, and up here you get a £30 fixed penalty if you have any of those on your scoot or car, even if it's parked up. Only England/Scotland/Wales badges are permitted, so the Piaggio one is out, and none of them have the maker's name or post code on them, and the spacing's are wrong. Shame though, coz they're right for the bike.

I would put it on and worry about the fine if it happens, when was the last time you got stopped by the fuzz anyway?? There's hardly any about these days - too busy filling out paperwork.

I saw this plate on a bike at a bike show we went to, I wanted to buy it off the bloke for my rally!!

all our lot run "illegal" plates

wrong letters
wrong spacing
plate too small
no makers name
blah blah blah

only pull we've ever had was a 55 plate GTs running a black and silver plate, no ticket, just swapped the "show plate for a legal one on the side on the road.

wonder what the police priority is at the moment, knife crime or dodgy plates Wink

Man that is well sweet, can't wait till mine arrives now! Love the flyscreen, thought the smoke screen would look cool with the black. What kind of tint spray did you use? Does it not run?
