Right, I'm trying to de-chrome my GTS as much as possible. Right now I have the aftermarket SP4Y mirrors in chrome and now I want my mirrors to be black. If SP4Y did a black version of their mirrors I'd have 'em in a shot, but they're either chrome or fake graphite. I'd also take the original mirrors in black (that'd really be Mickey Mouse then Laughing)

So I have been trawling SIP.com to se if I can find some black mirrors and was wondering if these would fit? They're for a Piaggio Quartz / SKR / ZIP according to the listing. They are M8 as I understand it. Also any suggestions or recommendations for Black mirrors for the GTS would be helpful Very Happy

Cheeky or anyone else for that matter do you know which mirrors from the Piaggio group will fit the GTS?

Cheers Cool

I am also looking for black mirrors. The mirrors on my new GTS would flop all over on a bumpy road, so I had them replaced under warrantee. One of the new ones is OK, but the other also flops. With great difficulty I got that mirror out of its holder to tighten up the nut inside, then broke the glass trying to put it back.

After three out of four Piaggio mirrors being useless, I am now looking for aftermarket ones.

I also like a minimalist "bare" scooter, so I thought a pair of black ones would be great. Gus Sutton (Vespasparers) has some FAR ones on his web site for the GTS, and I am trying to find out whether they are convex for a wider field of view. No reply from him yet.

I also plan to visit a local motorcycle accessories shop to see whether they have anything suitable

Mike

BikeIt do loads of mirrors in all fitments and about £5 a set Wink

The ones pictured at the start are Piaggio NRG mc3 and typhoon mirrors not zips etc.. they use a smaller rounder mirror.

If you want the std GTS mirrors but in black then get some Liberty 125 Sport ones Wink

Right ok, I'm going to avoid cheap plastic crap from Taiwan.

Had a look at some pics of the Liberty Sport, good call if you want black standard mirrors but I think they look even more like Mickey Mouse in black. However they do offer the best view of whats behind you...

Cheeky do you have the parts number for these mirrors?

I was thinking either these in black
