Had my 300 for 2 weeks now(black one, although white was very tempting)Previously had lammy gp, T5, 2 xP2s,LI 150 with mugello kit on. Did the rallies, do"s, rideouts etc. Turned 40 and decided it was time to grow up, sold all scoots, spares etc and thought that was it. Not even 12 months had passed when the bug bit again, but was undecided what form of 2 wheeled transport to get.Seriously thought about KTM crosser type thingy, but was talked out of it, jap sports bikes briefly crossed my mind, but soon left again. I was driving past smalley cross scooters and decided to have a nose round when i saw the gts 300, WOW!!!! Id put a deposit on one within 5 minutes of sitting on it!! The feeling you get is undescribable compared to a geared scooter, i ve only done 160 odd kilometers on it so far(shit weather),but its so smooth and quiet, and im told it ll get quicker as it beds in.does anyone know if there is an aftermarket pipe for it yet? I know scorpion are developing one at the moment, but as far as i know thats it. How many ks before i can thrash it? _________________ D.C.F.C. Come on u Rams!!!! |

Hiya Scooteman.....Must have got it the same time as me! Done similar mileage and went for white 300 from MSC.
The thing is an animal and will put a scorpion on when it`s run in. Great to ride though and soon adapted to not having the gears.
Cheers

Was drooling over a white one in the dealers while having my GTV serviced. I like the little touches like the black headlamp and side vents... reckon Ill get one in a year or so IF I can let the P200 go |

It didnt win by much....
Besides you would expect a newer version to be better.
Still keeping my 250 for a while yet _________________

When you subscribe it's delivered about a week earlier than appearing in the shops I've also read this review and they have made it sound alot more clear cut than my own findings when riding alongside a 250 . Yes it is quicker off the mark, but at times on the way down to Mersea I was just about keeping up with the 250 and i'm a couple of stone lighter than big Pepy . Still, the 300 has it's first service today, so maybe things will change now that i've passed the 1000k _________________ there's nothing here to make me sound cool or interesting |

how long is quite a while, done 350km on mine, opened it up on sunday, only got to 70mph, did nt seem to be a lot left to come, there was nt a head wind, although i did nt hold it open for ages, does it gradually creep up from 70mph? _________________ D.C.F.C. Come on u Rams!!!! |
