O you are all so funny PMSL!!!
Heated grips fitted, and as per Cheeky's advice the controler is in the glove box and I've wired it through relay so I can't leave them on.
Once again Cheeky is a legend.
Toastie hands love it! They are not much fatter than the original grips neither Oxford 2008 hotgrips IMPRESSED

I will be installing heated grips on my GTS in January. Along with a 12volt plug in the knee pad for my gps. I was going to order the ones from Hot Grips, as a member of my scooter club installed them and raves about them.

 I thought I would have to use a razor blade to get the old grips off! Thank you for posting this, vespaclaire. I am sure I will be fishing for tips next month...

No need to cut the old ones if you dont want too... get something small thin and blunt (handle of a normal butter knife etc) and slide it under the grip, then squirt some water or better still a solvent in the gap, i use brake cleaner and it works fab...
... now slide the object around the grip to loose the glue all the way round, and now the grip will just slide off... |

Yes I managed to get the old grips off.
left hand was easy, used a couple of thin flat screwdrivers to push the grip from the bar, sprayed WD 40 as that's all I had gave it a twist and it came off no bother.
Throttle was same but a bit more awkward due to the movement of the throttle, but I got it off with no damage done.

I was telling my Mam how impressed I was with my heated grips, for keeping my fingers warm.
She doesn't understand - told me thats what the car is for

Theres a woman I know got those Oxford heated grips on her GTS 125, swears by them, I would kinda like some but couldnt put up with the ear ache from the rest of club! ie; big Jessie, Nancy boy, etc etc!

LOL the guys at my club were taking the piss of me calling me a fanny! Same with the bikers offshore they were laughing too.
I don't care, I can't wait till the next time we are out a run in the cold they will be crying like a bunch of girls about how cold their fingers and I'll be the one laughing cause I'm nice and toastie! Who's the fanny's now

I stay in the north east of Scotland, it's always cold here! Today it was a heatwave a massive 3.5 degrees! I went out for the last scoot of the year, because it was so nice. Just in from cleaning her, I'm frozen
