Just try riding it with no helmet, and see how quickly you get stopped ! It was the same when BMW brought out the C1 scooter with the roof, you did'nt need a helmet for that, but owners were still getting stopped. Did'nt Aprilia bring one out as well ?

The thing with the C1 in the UK, you HAD to wear a helmet by law. It never got classified as a helmet free scooter, as it was intended. I think.

So if this is designed for car users does that mean you can drive it with car licence and don't need bike licence? Weird

Weird indeed. I'm crossing my fingers they are working on more interesting new versions as well as this weirdness.

Reducing the weight.
Increasing the power (without resorting to longer frame and bigger back wheel).
Two back wheels that also tilt...

Tilting back wheels Shocked Please no... the tilting front wheels has made it a unresponsive lard arse with no form of feedback, if they did the same to the backend i would rather walk... if safety is that important by a car with airbags, seat belts, 4 wheels and a roof. Cool

Hmm - I know I'm a noob and have nothing to compare it too, but it feels fine to me Wink I'm not saying ban two wheels, but imagine being able to still lean and filter and whatnot in the winter without worrying so much.

Sure - two-wheel-knee-down-on-the-edge-need-all-the-feedback fun for the good weather, but a tilting 4-cornered scoot is a long way away from a steel cage Wink

Ride a 2 wheeled bike then a MP3 and youll see what i mean... yes the MP3 is sure footed, but thats down to grip, not handling.... its front end is very vague, you cant feel what the tyres are doing because by the time the feeling has got to your hands, its passed through so many bearings and pivots the sensation is gone... if a 2 wheeled bike was like that it would be a killing machine. Wink

It might be better if they ditched some of the weight, the front end is sooo heavy, maybe over time they will redesign bits and make it a little better... we will see....
