I heard the black paint was supposed to be a bit soft mate so it gets about 3 coats of polish a week!!!

I'm not sure if it's the photo, but are the wheels in matt paint? I noticed that some of the American supers have matt paint on wheels

All the 300s I have seen here in France have matt black wheels with painted rims not polished!!
I also thought that they were gloss black with polished rims, Piaggio have probably changed then.

I think the gloss looks much better and will be easier to clean. Does anyone know if you can get caps to hide the 5 allen head screws on the wheel? I think they look daft specially with the marker paint on them after torking up!

I must have a bit of a collectors item then, with matt wheels in the uk? apparently the scooter goes a bit faster with matt wheels cos there s no laquer on them and they are lighter!!!!!!!!!
