Just an idea while there nothing on during the rally months how about we all wait for the sun newspaper to do their cheap family holidays at butlins or wherever pick a place and we could all meet kids and all and please the whole family
especially for those who's wives never get to go any where due to lack of baby sitters, or lack of rally interest. Laughing

some feed back on this would be good if anyone interested put in a reply then when the sun advertises we could all make a decision making mileage as fair as possible for destination ( so not yarmouth)

superb idea, well up for it as is Mrs Mav and Mav junior Cool

we normally do a few of the cheap sun weekends and they're great value done a butlins in the summer and a couple of "havens" as well this year, got another haven one in a fortnight Cool

would be good for the folks normally left behind at home when we do our weekends away to meet the folks we all talk about Laughing

To keep Gav happy with his desire to take the mick out of some mods, i'll make sure to bring my parka, desert boots, squirrel tail, and i'll glue some mirrors on which i'll nick from some vauxhall viva's and hillman avenger's i've got my eye on lol!!

right, does anyone know how these sun newspaper deals work??

how many people can we do on a booking?
if we have to do 2 bookings to get everyone to go how can we make sure both groups end up at the same place? (i think you have to list 4 venue choices and they fit you in where they can.....)

i think the sun deals are the way to go, just want to make sure we do it right when the time comes
