sorry smudger didnt make myself clear, when you put up that map showing the planned route for the ride, i just thought it would have been nice if someone could put up a full uk map , what you could sorta stick pins in and it would show where we all are ,

like Claire in scotland, guys in liverpool, and it seems quite a few down south, just a idea ! Embarassed

I like the idea, I was on holiday at Criccieth in Sept and my parents live in Anglesey, there are some awesome riding roads in Wales. Just for thwe record though...Portmerion isn't worth the entrance fee!!!

Visiting Anglesey Race Circuit (not Ty Croes any more!) would be cool, there again I'm biased I'm an ex racer!

As long as the dates are good then count me and the missus in!

Smudger , I think it's a great idea am sick to death to be honest of wet fields and same old same old, in fact I've already decided I'm not doing a national rally next yr at all only Euro weekends as I'm 12 miles from the nearest port and theres a whole new world out there. A riding weekend would be great.
Count me in.

It's certainly something to consider Wink, although I was aiming for a cheap weekend as some of the other more important trips planned for next year will cost a few $$$'s

I might be able to do it, depending on what shifts I'm on at work. I don't do tents these days though. If I can't do the week-end, I may be able to join in along the way just for the day, to maybe meet some of the other guys/girls on here ?

Gonna wait till the 2009 rally dates are out, which I believe Chev was gonna bring back from Brid and post on here, so not too long to wait... Wink

There is a Welsh rally next year, unfortunately it's South Wales (Tenby) so probabley won't tie in with this tour Exclamation

To be honest I was trying to organise this to be like the 1st 3 days up in scotland, lots of riding and some social drinking on a campsite.

No rallies, there plenty of opportunities to go rallying next year Wink

Anyway, looking at the dates Big Ian posted HERE how does the weekend 9th-11th May sound to peeps???
