its about 170 miles to dunkirk from the rally site and its only a 2 hour sailing

we sort of knew the return ferry would book up super quick......

everyone and his dog are going to want to be on that ferry and the alternatives are either super early or super late so heading south to dunkirk / calais / bolougne are the only sensible options Wink

going out isn't so much of a problem as we'll probably be the only 2 wheelers on there on a monday whereas coming back on the sunday every brit who's been to the rally in holland wants to be on that ferry PLUS any other 2 wheelers who've been away for the weekend in hollandistan:wink:

unfortunatley i could not sort it out before xmas as had a lot to pay for (holiday) and also mrs rainham has to book a week off to look after the kids

glenn the trads can tag along with me to dunkirk its only 170 miles and have to be there at about 3:00

not having a go at anyone about booking

there is room on the 22:00 sunday and saturday ferry but gets home about 06:30 in the morning which is too late for me and didn't fancy leaving the rally on saturday night
