Hi there, Vince here, living just in front of your island: in Britanny.
I'm into scootering since the end of 1989 when i bought my first PX125, introducing me to scooter rallys a few months laters making me encountering my best mates and earing good sound (especially from uk). Since then, i've been present on the scene not as often as i would expect but that's an other story...Always had a gearbox scooter in garage even for only commuting. I've been attracted by the darkside in 2003 with a T-Max, was brilliant bike but japanese and the rest of the word wasn't ready for the 21st century revolution. I've been waiting for a new auto lambretta but nothing was coming and European laws being more and more restrictives (and the french MOT isn't very comprehensive for custom or selfmade bikes), i think this project will stay a dream. So here we are in automn 2008 and, with two other motivated mates (including johnny Alucard -also newbie on this forum-) , we decide that's "time for action". I've tried to negociate a few prices with some dealers for three white gts 300, and since november the 8, we are the proud owners of our first new vespa. I think it's a good way to go abroad with decent speed on motorways and without bringing 20 lbs of tools and expensive to stroke oil...
