Don't be so precious,99% of us are trad scooterists that just ride the latest (future) classic. And I bet all of us said the same things before we saw the light. It won't be long before the GTS makes up half the ridden scooters at a rally.I don't get xmas trees or mat black T5's but there part of the scene, without them and the characters that ride them there'd be no scene at all.I know it,you know it and if we stopped turning up at rallies they'd know it too. A question for those that remember...

What was the reception given to brand new Vespa PX riders in the late 70s? Were they given a lot of grief from the trad lammy and vespa riders of the time. Surely the PX was as weird and modern to them as the GTS is to some people today.

P range riders were still getting shit in the early 80s. When that quietened down us T5 riders were getting it for our square headlights and flat back ends from P2 owners.

End of the day, who cares what "they" think?

OMG, I just realised, I remember saying to a mate in about '82 I think "Oh god they've got indicators, I don't like that" Oooh how embarrasing, I was only 15 at the time too. and I had to be won over again with the GTS but I am converted and I love our 300 we actually get to the rallys the same day that we leave home, it's ground breaking stuff Laughing Laughing Laughing
