Welcome.
The most important thing with an auto is to shut the throttle off when stopping, in a fight between the reving engine and the brakes the engine will win. _________________ GTS 250+PX 200+Dragster & Runner 180+ Hexagon 125+Hexaphoon project.

Hi Rik.
You and me are much the same. I've just done about 1000km's on my 300. It's still a bit strange, but getting so used to it that the PX now feels awful.!!
Not sure that the GTS will be better on fuel than a PX, but have not taken mine down the motorway yet. It uses a little more than the PX200 going to work and back for a week. BUT, it is hard trying to keep to 30mph.!!!
You'll fill your pants the first time you have to brake hard and forget there's no foot brake! But enjoy the power, and remember, you're still a scooterist.

The difference in fuel ecconomy between a PX 200 and GTS 300 are nominal, but have you worked in the extra cost of 2 stroke oil too? to be fair the comparisons arnt right as the 300 is 85/90mph capable, start working out fuel n oil economy on a tuned Lammy or PX 210 that MAY be 85mph capable the GTS will piss it! _________________ GTS250 its the future!!! Hi mate , enjoy your GTS , i got my 250 last July & have enjoyed every mile on it with a huge grin -i didn`t even consider the 300 as i`d waited a while for my GTS.
Don`t miss my old P 2 at all -i had it 8 years & traded it in.
Couldn`t even tell you when my Series 2 was last out for a run either !
re petrol i`d say its more economical with a much further range and a brucey bonus of no more TTS at £ 11 a pop
happy days all round _________________ Oohwallawallah
