No floormat for me then
Just fitted a short tinted screen, and wondered how tight youre supposed to turn the long nuts holding it on in the headset. I could definately tighten em more but don't want to overdo it. Can you turn em full in? _________________

i take it you're talking about the under the headset bolts?
i do mine fairly tight, just watch the spanner doesn't slip
i also grease the parts and take the screen off every now and then as i have heard of those expanding bolts seizing into the headset _________________

If you mean the expanding screen fixings, then yes you dont want to over tighten them, just enough so it wont pull out easily...
... and most definately copper slip the entire lot so it will always come undone, as if ya dont the chrome rusts like crazy and welds it all together and getting them out is hard work indeed. |
