I used to have an Arai, great for comfort. Couldn't afford to pay that money again so got the Caberg Trip, very impressed with it. Even more so after seeing these results. |

Araï Astro for me replacing my old stinky Shoei XR or RF 100.
Wanted a Roof Boxer (because of look and they're "Fabriqué en France") but you can't use them on rainy days because of instant fog inside visor and not being waterproof after a few weeks. Last thing, it's real shite to use with gloves and not sure your shin will be very protected...To go shopping, i'd prefer a Davida Jet.
Roof full helmets are far better quality.
If i had to change for a modular it would be a Multitec or a Nolan N103 but can't find my size (i'm in the gap between two sizes). _________________ http://www.dailymotion.com/relevance/search/el%2Bhombre%2Bnuclear/video/x75va7_el-hombre-nuclear-intro_shortfilms |

Simpsons are illegal purely because they are not BS Kite marked. The aperture story is an urban myth.
BS asked Simpson to pay the fee to get on the Kite mark list, they turned round and told BS to poke off, they meet the US Snell standard which is a much higher standard than BS.
They also make 2 models now that meet the Euro Standard, these are legal for use on UK roads.
They make the best helmets in the world in performance and style stacks, why else would Top Fuel Drag Racers use them!!
Of course I'm biased, I've been wearing a Simpson for years!
I also use a Roof Diversion, bloody brilliant helmet. I would recommend it to anyone! _________________ Always keep the shiny side up!

I had a roof Diversion absolute rubbish, so quality control is obviously an issue. _________________

No matter what I tried I could not stop a force 10 gale blowing though it, not he best in the middle of January. I swapped to a Shoei Multitech last year and would not buy anything other than Shoei now, you can tell the quality is just better, it a much more pleasant environment to stick your head . I guess the old adage you get what you pay for comes true, the Multitech was over twice the price of the Roof.
Plus spares are nearly impossible to find. The Roof needed a new side pod, could not find them anywhere
If anyone knows where I can get side pods for Roof R010, the I can sell it _________________
