ow do I`m Craig also known as R kid! I`m a member of the Southport Sandgrounders Scooter Club and i live in Manchester. I have a vespa gt 125cc in bullet grey and at present it is just standard. I would like to get a new exhaust for it and upgrade the engine, so all advice would be greatfully accepted. I do use my scooter everyday for work etc and weekends to go on as many rallies as i can !!!
Can i just ask one question, scorpian pipe or PM?? |

Hi & Welcome
i've got a scorpion and am pleased with how the GTs goes with it but build quality is a bit poor (repacked once and welded twice in a year ) if i was buying again i'd go for a PM _________________

Hello Mate.
Whichever exhaust you choose when it comes to the engine use the malossi 210 kit and a 140/70/12 rear tyre for a substancial increase in power and top speed.
You will also need to upgrade the carb to GT200 spec (4 items) or just get a 200 carb.
You'll be flyin'

Hello Craig, Welcome to the site.
The obvious (but expensive) upgrade for a GT125 is a Malossi 210cc cylinder kit. All the other mods add a bit here and a bit there, but nothing near as significant.

Craig,
It's not expensive at all when you consider price vs gain!
You could spend the same money on a few other bits and only gain a small percentage of what the 210 kit gives you.
