Its a black one but aren't they all?
Also pic of Jettins chrome filler cap thingy - I keep gettin the urge to buy more things - think I might be turnin a bit mod!!!! Help!

Yeah and the wife takes credit for that!

Just after taking the pics she was doing some gardening and dicovered a toad in one of the pots behind and freaked (she has major league frog phobia!)waving around some kind of heavy duty prunning scissors and just kept missing the scoot! I had to dive in and grab her just avoiding being stabbed! She thought I was trying to help her and was well pissed off when I said I was just protecting the scoot! Smile

I'm thinking of putting some graphics on it.
Either a more refined style of some silhouettes of crow/raven in flight in silver/chrome to go over curve of sidepanel - quite small so over rear areas y badges and again on legshield.
Or Full Quickscooter (Quicksilver spoof) with their mountain & wave logo on panels (curve of wave might go nice with curve of panel) and quickscooter written on toolbox or down legshield in stripe? Would prob go down a storm here in Cornwall with surfers. Hopefully no ones done this?

Shaping up very nicely indeed - I especially like the yellow all weather canopy with the orange body work.
Go for a Hokusai wave and you'll be in business Wink

The vespa looks awful good too though - keep up the good work (and weeding!) Cool

Scootsim - take your point though a GTS is always gonna be a quick scooter compared to trads. Also not many Vespas down here let alone GTS' Would like to upgrade a little later for extra mph but would have to entrust to someone who knows what theyre doing. Don't know of anyone local down here in Cornwall so bit of a prob. Can't understand why someone hasn't invested in getting Vespas down here in West Cornwall as places like St Ives are full of other makes of scooter (no where to park cars and kids need rural transport).
Like the look of your GTS - If I do the Quickscooter theme it'll be old style lettering not new like yours (don't want to be accussed of copying!) Also like the look of yours with just grab rail at back (though I use rack quite a lot). Did you have probs getting the other parts of rack off? and did it leave any marks where it fits above light? Cool

Lookin V.G.. I think chrome looks its very best on a black scoot. The side/crash/nudge/drop bars look uber cool. They link the front chrome to the back chrome very well.
Further modding? Well thats all part of the fun init? So if you want to, do it. It won`t slow ya down any in the Cornish August traffic. We all doin 15mph anyway. Laughing

no worries about copying ..plenty of quiksilver stuff about anyway ..plus plenty of scope for different designs like you said ..

rack is easy to get off ..i take mine off and put it back when i need it for rallys etc
