HAD BIKE AT PM AND HAD A PM62 FITTED TO MY GT125 AND DID A COUPLE OF RUNS ON THE DYNO, HERE'S THE RESULTS....
[img=http://img40.picoodle.com/img/img40/6/11/2/f_PM62VSTD022m_ea3fdef.jpg]
AS YOU CAN SEE THEY PUT A DECIBEL KILLER IN WHICH MAKES IT A LOT LESS NOSIER BUT A BIT MORE POWERFUL
AND IT SOUNDS MUCH NICER TOO.
AND ITS EASILY REMOVABLE ASWELL _________________ POGUE MAHONE SC

YEAH ITS A CHART SHOULD SHOW UP. ITS A TUBE THAT FITS IN THE BACK OF THE PIPE AND SREWS IN AND MAKES IT CONSIDERABLY QUIETER IVE HAD IT WITH IT ON AND OFF BUT PERSONALY PREFER IT WITH IT IN, I THINK OWNERS WITH EXISTING PIPES CAN PUT ONE IN BY DRILLING A 5MM HOLE IN THE BOTTOM OF EXIT OF THE PIPE AND SCREWING IT IN _________________ POGUE MAHONE SC

The DB killer will be producing a little more back pressure, which in turn will boost the engines torque...
People always assume maximum gas flow = maximum power
... but it doesnt always work like that, and this is proof, without the torque to pull the weight the performance suffers... its all a compromise. |

by looking at the dyno graph it does noy make a lot of difference looks a small hp gain, but as they say a gain is a gain.
I will phone today and ask them, see if they have a part number and cost. cheers |

aklso if you notice the decible killer corrects some dips in the power delivery as well
which was probably down to a split manifold rubber..... i wondered why it was running a bit lean
any way im 210ing soon _________________ POGUE MAHONE SC

The DB killer will smoothen it all out as it will have increased the torque... BHP is only 1/2 the key...
What ya need is a PM pipe with a Exup valve fitted... best of both worlds! |
