Was thinking of visiting La coupole and the Todt Museums plus this year I organised a trip for my club to Beetsugar rally and stayed at a great little hotel run by a biker in a place called Etaples, which would be a good base to run out of as only just over an hour from Calais
I'd put links to the two places but for some reaon the site keeps knocking me back

A few of reasons why I personally don't want to combine the 2.
1. Her indoors would possibly freak out at idea of over a week away doing scootering bits, bad enough blagging long weekends
2. Even if I did wangle a week away I'd never hear the end of it!
3. I have also done Beatsugar for the past 3 years and like to go on my lamby next year will be the fourth on my GP some how it does feel more of a challenge going on a TS1 and getting there

Book the tunnel then.......£50 odd each way.
Speedferries is about the cheapest you can get.
Wizernes is only about 30 miles or so from Boulogne as well. |

The IOW ferries are serious robbing bastards.
Was watching the Long way down( the Charley Boardman & Ewan Mcgregor bike trip, from John O'Groats to Cape Town) and they caught a ferry from Italy to Sicily and it cost them 6 euros(approx £3.60),distance 2.3 miles. I believe Portsmouth to IOW is only 6 miles and costs approx £28.00. Robbing c##ts |
