1. With a 'Toro' near Avila in Castilla Leon
2. In the desert in Almeria in Andalucia

it's a lock. it swings up and is attached to the end of the handlebars. they are very popular here. it's great for leaving your helmet on as well as it hardly ever rains. it's not the strongest lock but it's good for when you park briefly. i have another chain and lock incase i need to leave the vespa in a dodgy neighbourhood or for a long period of time.

the lock stops kids sitting on your scoot when its parked close to a wall.
and its proper noticable for any chav scum.

| Can some one tell me me what this lock is called and maybe show me a pic or a link where i can see the lock better.. I still can't see how it works and what its connected to as i am interested in one.. And where would i be able to get one from |

i forgot the name. i'll have a look later. it doesn't affect the body work as it is attatched to the hinge of the seat by 2 screws. it's not high security but it's useful. here r some photos:

you can get them from VE, i paid 40 squid for it.
theres 2 versions as well, the budget and the normal one.
the budget one is just as good.
