Anyone managed to rig a TOM TOM1 up to their scoot?
I've got one I use for work in the car but thought with the trip to france coming up might be handy if I could get it to work on the scoot
Don't know if you'd hear it though !!!??

Use mine in europe a lot in the car but it aint straight forward in france
Often thought it was cheating putting it on a scoot as it's more fun trying to find a place with just a peice of paper sometimes especially if your abroad........first time went to beatsugar drove around for 3½ hours just trying to find entrance to the site which at one stage was only 100yrds away !!!

Not rigged one up on my scoot but it's simple to do as i rigged one up on my bike when i went to nurburgring in june.... I bought a cheap cigarette power adapter of ebay and i then soldered some wires directly to the end of the plug and attached them permanently to to battery via a inline switch and left the little connector hanging out at the dash .The tom tom was attached to the inside of the screen via a window sucker and it worked perfect.. The tom tom is not waterproof unless you buy the rider one, but i bought a rubber skin and the odd bit of wet didn't affect it as it was slightly tucked behind the screen ,but overal it worked a treat..didn't need to hear it as i just followed the screen directions.. |

could stick it in a condom i suppose.......
mine is the original wind up TOMTOM one v1 not the v2 so that skin is no good for mine unfortunatly
however i had a look about and found this:-
Crystal Clear Carry Hard Case Bag For Tomtom One V1
fits on the mount with case in place, might be worth a go and a bit of inginuety to get it more watertight _________________
