if you are after a sony the k810i is a very good phone
only the keypad makes it a little quirky to use for people
with sausage fingers
the k800i had a far more usable keypad and cheaper to
always thought personally this phone had the best camera
and memory cards are big and cheap now
firmware upgrades ,if you are brave ,are available online
the k850 mmmmmmmm loads of reports of crashes ,bugs etc
another mate at work has had 3 and is getting fed up

i was tempted by sony ericsson for the camera 9k800i or k850i) think glenns is a k800i and his piccys are always good Cool

the only thing that put me off was remembering when i changed from nokia to motorola and just couldn't learn a different method of texting, sounds silly doesn't it but i've become "nokiaised" didn't want it happening again with the sony Embarassed

maybe it's just me, you know what they say about old dogs and new tricks Wink

I got a Samsung top of the range last March as a replacement for a Nokia, on contract, took it back within the week, struggling to use it! Bloke in the Vodaphone shop said I was nuts changing it for another Nokia, but there simple to use, Ive been watching the comments on here as mines coming up for renewal again.

thinking of ordering this

http://www.amazon.co.uk/TomTom-1N01060-ONE-Great-Britain/dp/B000TXHDM6/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1201130679&sr=1-4

now as i have a screen i would have though the best way to mount it is in the gap between the clocks and the screen.

what ram mount shall i get for it

not too keen on sticking it on the mirror behind the screen it wont get blasted going down the motorway Cool

it won't be good for anything if it gets soaked on the way to a rally Wink

i use the tom tom one because i stole it off the wife who bought it for the car, if i was buying one for myself it would be the rider as it does sometimes rain on rallies Wink

i see what your saying but sat navs are not worth paying £300 + for

i have spent loads latelly and i cant justify it

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Garmin-Nuvi-350-Navigation-European/dp/B000CI0R3A/ref=sr_1_48?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1201131840&sr=1-48

just do what we've been doing for years and plan your route using a map and write the roads down on masking tape and stick it to your bars "twat nav" then stick a quid in the piggy bank every now and then until you can have the tom tom rider Cool

no rush, it's not essential......
