following on from the ET4 debate (will it make it, will it keep up etc), my mates other option is to come on his Quad (well, it's the only option really, coz the ET is just about fecked anyway!!), question is would he get any grief about this (i know you cant answer for the french lot). I know from reading a previous post on scooter-scene site that Glen has strong opinions on this, but as he cant make it , it aint gonna affect him anyway, so anyone else got any thoughts? |

Boo, thats the ideal scenario (especially as i will be on 3 wheels eventually), but the snag is that he's on CBT (and a full car licence), so the fuocco is a no go until he takes his test, so no good for cobblestone... |

To give my slant on it ( for what it's worth)
Imagine it's your scooter rally and someone turns up on a quad bike.....I know what I'd think
The little french rally we are going on is gonna get a shock as it is with all our autos turning up.....last year I think there were 2-3 tops at the whole rally.
Taking a quad over could possibly lead to drawing attention from the gendarmes as I've not seen them on the roads over there and I don't know how he'd stand legally There is going to be a lot of motorway riding involved and I don't know how the quad would cope
If I was smaller I'd offer him a lift but I dont think he'd fit What does he need to get the ET4 sorted?
I hate to say it but I think I have to agree with Glenn on this one. |
