|
|
I`m hoping to take delivery of a new company vehicle in the spring.
When I sell my Figaro it should enable me to release some funds.I don`t think I could stretch to a Gilera 800 but I am considering a second hand scoot for fast/longer distance. Iv`e done some canny miles over the years to Norway,Austria and Spain so I`d shortlist the following:
Burgman 600,Silverwing,T Max and the Nexus.
I would be interested in riders views both those who have test rode them but preferably ownership views.
The Jap stuff I would presume, should be better built and more reliable and possibly have superior performance?
I`m the wrong side of 15 stone,6` 1" and I like to take a load of gear to rallies etc.budget would be no more than £5k
I`m still gonna keep the GTS
Ps,Having said all that,I fancy one of those three wheeled scoots but I keep hearing `lack of space and performance` _________________ The Stig rides an Auto so is always in TOP GEAR! |

You can improve the Nexus slow speed judder by fitting the later master engines 8 roller variator unit. |

Gav, throw those silly excuses for mounting plates away before you fit them and remake some proper ones the Norfolk way using Massey TRACTOR STEEL _________________

at least it looks easy to mount
piaggios the spastics cant even line there own adaptor up
so you have to adapt the adaptor
i wouldnt expect anything more from them though _________________

not just piaggio happens with all manufacturers including BMW sometimes getting stuff to fit is a choice between a file and a big hammer and giving it a "Norfolk tweak" _________________

Try fitting a topbox rack onto a new 4t stroke zip... takes a Norfolk tweak and a half |

The threads drifting a wee bit.......so whats the better machine lads,MP3 400 or Fouco 500?
Sorry my mistake, the lack of space was mainly directed towards LEG ROOM, not carrying space. _________________ The Stig rides an Auto so is always in TOP GEAR! |

@Stig... legroom is identical on the both due to sharing all the same floorboard and inner leg shield panels.
MP3 has more underseat room, better screens and weather protection.
Fuoco is quicker, and has more aggressive looks.
@Gavskin... not sure as never tried it, if i remember i will whip the cover off our used one and see how much room there is. |
