Does it deflect the wind ok and can you see anything in the mirrors? |
Deflects the wind into your helmet/face a bit.. but livable as regards to mirrors ..there ok but you get a slight view of your arm, but again livable... |

Yeah as i said before don't bother with ebay when you can buy new for £18...Also as an update after riding it the wind deflection isn't brilliant as it sits a bit too shallow but hey the looks are growing on me and and i can put up with streaming eyes...Just longing for the warmer weather so the wind in your face will be a bonus |

Nah its crap, get rid, seriously though, is it only fixed by the mirrors? does it not rub the paint on the head set? Is it likely to snap off at 80? all questions that are troubling me, hope Im not putting you off it. _________________ GTS250 its the future!!! A club wi owt a name sc. Bamberbridge. |

Paul, yes it only secured by mirrors but is very secure. I bought a soft plastic screen trim from halfords at £5 (see pic) that i have fitted to the piece were it touchs the headset it does not mark or damage the paint... |

Well ive ordered the screen, but thought the runner mirrors looked a bit low, so am trying to source some others, maybe m8 type or foucco, if there not the same anyway? that Igarrats got a lot to answer for. They say immitation is the most sincere form of flattery, well see. _________________ GTS250 its the future!!! A club wi owt a name sc. Bamberbridge. |

Good luck guys Its a bit tricky cutting out for the headlamp but patience is a vertue !!.. I just removed bits at a time and just got an angle grinder with a sanding wheel and kept trying it up and then taking a bit more off ..and off..and off then finish the edge off with some wet n dry....

Hah finally done it, cut the Runner screen that is, 2 nights for 1 and half hours each night, bought a new Jig saw £50, Screen £18.80, mirrors £40, stainless washers nuts grommits etc, wore my dremil to a frazzle! but its done! dunno if I like it now though, shows Red paint between the screen n headlight, doesnt show on Igarrets black GTS, bugger, maybe grow on me, or I can try to snap it off going flat out to Gingers egg run on Saturday! if it survives it can stay. _________________ GTS250 its the future!!! Oh well m8 worth a try...It probably helps mine being a black scoot and to be fair i have got used to the looks and imo it's grown on me, but at the moment i have put the standard screen back on as the wind deflection is right in you face and as i use an open face lid the weather at the mo is a bit chilly but i will definately put it back on when it warms up as i cant wait for some scorching summer days so i have to go and ride just to cool off and then it will be perfect !!.. |
