I can't exactly say I have a huge amount of experience (I pick up my MP3 later today and passed my test a couple of weeks ago;) but I thought keeping the rain off is what your helmet visor does Wink

It strikes me that a huge screen like that would just add an extra layer of rain streaks to look through and one that curved would distort things nastily.

Having just had my first ride on my new MP3 250 (yay!) I am wondering if one 6 inches higher and, more to the point, a little wider (so my poor wickle handses don't get so chilly) might be worthwhile?

Anyone care to debate the pros and cons?

I certainly don't want a 'big' one (i.e. nothing that gets in my view), but something more than the standard small might be nice...

Partly answering my own question... Just had the thought that if the screen were wide enough to keep some wind/rain of the hands, then if would probably interfere with the bars on full lock?

Hmm. Something attached to the bars themselves maybe?

I bet the answer is obvious and I just exhibiting my noobiness!

The medium screen has built in handguards so might be worth looking into... its small enough for me to just see over but reduces the wind buffeting no-end... as with any screen they cut down as well if need be.

The winter screen is a nasty screen, near impossible to see through in the rain, and any wind other than from directly ahead gives lots of drag and makes handling suffer... dont do it. Wink
