gts got to 300 miles ecu light comes on! dealer say's no fault shown so will have to leave it with them for a couple of days to get loom changed!!!
then take it for first service and £68 lighter and 5 miles down road scoot grinds to halt sounds like drive belt has snapped or dropped valve either way sounded terminal. again told paiggio says broken wire in loom some where and scoot stopped as built in mech to prevent running to long with ecu light on.(sounds bollox)
Q: do i have a friday afternoon gts?
Q: at what point can i say this veh is not fit for purpose?
Q: and can i insist on paiggio replacing it with a new one?
£3300 does seem alot of money for a lump of metal that is never in my garage.....
still love everyone elses just not my one.
anyone help advise?

Its a tricky one, and one that very rarely gets sorted easily... your best bet is to talk to the dealer about it, and Piaggio.
Make sure you do both in writing, and make sure they are sent recorded...
If worst comes to it, and things get legal then the proof of them 2 will be worth there weight in gold.
But in reality, youve got a bike and its had a few problems, its not that unusual and is the reason they come with warranty, its not your fault its gone wrong, or the dealers either so dont go too mad at them... unless its the same fault as last time and they just never fixed it??
Really all you can do now is let them have it, try to fix it and see what happens. |

Your contract of sale is with the dealer not Piaggio, thats just the shit you have to put up with if your a retailer in this country. Talk to the Citizens Advice Bureau they can tell you all about your consumer rights. _________________
