Iv'e now done about 300 trouble free miles and I'm enjoying every ride so far.The Handling is better than I expected and `er indoors reckons it's the most comfortable machine Iv'e had. That includes the Blackbird we were sorry to let go!
I love this scoot,it just wafts along without any bother and had plenty of smooth grunt off the lights as well. The weight goes as soon as you are on the move and I'm pretty sure helps with stability and the magic carpet ride.
As it's always in the right gear, the power is more than enough to blast past those irritating caravans and such like on country roads.Any serous overtaking to get a clear view of the road ahead involves a prod of the `Power` button and whoosh you are way ahead! (I can't be bothered with the manual buttons)
I should've bought one of these years ago `doh!
This weekend I'm off to a rally and next week I'm taking the missus to Glencoe
I thought I'd see how much stuff I could get under the seat and decided to do a dummy pack today.
On the vespa GTS I had a front and rear rack and a small amount of room under the seat. The remaining gear was then strapped onto the pillion so no room for any passengers. The problem with strapping gear to the seat is every time you need fuel you have to unpack every thing as the fuel cap was under the seat.
The Burger has a rear/side filler cap so no unpacking is involved.
I have managed to get one sleeping bag,one roll mat a self inflating mattress, one Coleman tent and a fold away stool all under the seat alone!! There's room for a case of Stella and a bag for a change of clothes on the back seat .
No doubt when I have Mrs Stig in tow I'll have to get a top box,but I'm amazed at the storage on this Scoot.

er, not if you think logically and fit hooks to the edge of the seat to lash to

Bloody hell, can't you let the poor girl ride pillion? If I suggested towing my wife all that way I'd be dead by now! _________________ A Cripple is someone who thinks Disabled People can't ride motorbikes |
