I thought I had it licked, but I'm still having issues. Doh!
So, I put in a nutsert/rivnut to replace the threaded plate that broke free that the baffle screwed up to. Threadlocked it (and the one that didn't break) in and woohoo it all worked fine.
Checking it after the last ride, the bolt had worked it's way out until almost dropping out The other held, but won't for long on it own, I think.
One thing that may be at fault... it's an aluminium nutsert... perhaps it just isn't up to the high temperature, high vibration job?... _________________ Do two and 1/4 rallies mean I'm not a scoot noob anymore? |

Hmmm. I've had mine on for a few thousand miles now & it's all fine
I don't think it's a build quality issue (unless someone knows different). _________________

It does seem you're the only one on any of the scooter sites to have this issue so it sounds like a one off. Have you actually contacted them to see what they (LV) say? _________________
