anybody out there with any feedback on fuel economy for the GTS300? My first full tank got me to 140K, and now reading 210K with half the second tank gone. Is this about right? I ask because my old GT200 didn't seem to be so thirsty. I know it had a smaller engine and a bigger tank, but I thought that the fuel injection on the GTS300 would make up for this. _________________ there's nothing here to make me sound cool or interesting |

My GTS 250 will do about 100 miles before the fuel light comes on, it does depend of course on how you ride it
I assume you are running it in right now... _________________

Yeah I,m running it in, (but my Nan would be giving it more stick! ) After reading Sliders problems I'll be riding like a vicar until the magic 1000K passes _________________ there's nothing here to make me sound cool or interesting |

Hey Lil Pepy, we got to just outside of cleethorpes on our 300 and needed juice desperately, the 250's we were with seemed to fair better on fuel consumption than we did not by alot but there was still a difference, perhaps it's cos we're running them in? I think we did about 110 miles to a tank full, hope this helps. _________________ It's Evolution Baby!

Hi all , i was going to do a similar post regarding my new GTS 250.
i`m still running it in having only done 500 miles & i got 143 miles for my last tankful tank - mostly 2 up , although i obviously wasn`t hammering it-yet !
i thought this was very good mileage, is this an average figure or higher or lower than i should expect ? _________________ Oohwallawallah

Hi
I get about 110 miles to the average tank of petrol on my 250 but I do thrash it,as for the 300 Im sure I read somewhere that they have a slightly smaller tank than a 250 which may explain the reduction in mileage. _________________ Live Slow Die young !

I checked out the Vespa site and they are the same size according to the specs... _________________

I'm getting exactly 140K per tank. I think thats about 80 miles or so _________________ there's nothing here to make me sound cool or interesting |

All the time wishing I was on the GTS!!! _________________ GTS250 its the future!!! A club wi owt a name sc. Bamberbridge. |
