That is, how easy is it to filter through the traffic on an mp3 or fuco?

they look soooooo wide, but are are they (I'm thinking of handlebar width compared to a gts)

Not that I'm considering one....or are I??? Wink

I go through london as well as dual carriageway traffic, so any thoughts on the practicality of these 2 as compared to a gts would be appreciated...

Well, I can't quite answer your question as my MP3 is my first scooter (or bike) and today was my first day doing serious London filtering!

But...

I can say, I followed a Ducati Superbike through some very interesting gaps and I only wobbled to avoid wing mirrors when he did and two front wheels makes it nice and stable.

The only point where I gave up and a little scooter carried on was when it required cutting across a lane in front of car and behind a badly loaded lorry - I didn't fancy two tight 90 degree turns at slow speed while ducking scaffolding pipes - but that may be just my inexperience.

All in all I think it is pretty manoevarable for it's size and it doesn't often 'feel' big, but it *is* a 'maxi' scooter.

Maybe it just seems a good size for me coz I'm a fat git!

No different than filtering on a GTS. An ET4 is easier to filter on because it is so light and twitchy....

How's this for a comprison?

A lot of people have been saying they are too big to filter :blah: :blah: :blah:

Well look below to see the side by side comparisons.

Runner handlebars measure 29" across.
Fuoco handlebars measure 30" across.

Front whels in line with each other

Rear wheel on Fuoco is about 7" further out than the Runner

Side by side, Fuoco only appears a lot wider over all

Fuoco is directly behind Runner (almost touching)
