Passed my DAS motorcycle test today with 2 minors so at 12pm I was able to take the GTS out for a ride. Just got to master the pillion carrying bit now to keep the wife happy as she paid for the Vespa and the DAS!
Got two weeks to do that, as have tickets to see The Who at Southhampton and wanna take the Vespa.

Christ , when I passed my test in the 80's it was - "go down that road, turn right , right again , then come back so I can jump out in front of you... congratulations , you've passed... get a killer bike !"

Thats when I should of taken my test Niffy when I had my DT125 back in the 80's, but I got a car and forgot about the fun of motor bikes. Now I'v reached that mid life crises and need some excitement again, the test is much harder, do a U turn without putting your foot down!

Congrats on the pass ,can't remember when i passed my test it was some time in the early 80's ,but i can remember having to use my brothers AF S-Type as my PX150's indicators had jacked in.

Find yourself a good instructor Craig E, if you are going to do the DAS course you will be learning on a 500cc motorcycle which is alot heavier and more powerful than a 125 and will take a day or 2 to get a feel for it.
U turn no feet down, controlled emergency stop, safe pull away from behind parked car, use your life saver look behind and obey highway code and you should pass.

im wanting to do the test on my bike because i dont feel compftable with the foot gear change also i dont think i'll every ride a motorbike
