Just got back from ride out to vmsc custom show. It was good to see quite a few GTS & GT Vespas amongst the ranks of lights n mirrors especially considering that thier website asks anyone who rides an auto to click the link which whisks them off to TAG website!! Maybe they'll eventually enter the 21st century? |

the GTS is better than any trad scooter.
and thats coming from a mod.
ive always been a px/T5 man, but now ive got a GTS i could never go back. the px seems like a penny farthing after riding a GTS!! |

damn right!!!
it weren't so long ago that I'd be commuting to work on my p2 powered GS160, looking down on autos in general even though they were faster and nodding my head to the odd p range that looked like it belonged to a scooterist.
road past a mint green p range the other day and thought what a lump of shit
reverse snobbery - its the way forward (only joking to those with a p range, had a great p2 myself once upon a time) _________________

Careful now lads, there's nowt wrong with the good old traditional geared vespa, i actually went on my T5 yesterday, and as much as i love the GTS, i'll never get rid of my T5. The GTS is a mileage eater for rallies, which is no different to the P2 & T5 when they came out. My only gripe is with sites such as midlandscooters.com wanting to whisk GTS riders off elsewhere as if they aren't scooter riders. The majority of kids nowadays don't want to bother with geared scooters, for one thing you won't be able to buy a new one soon anyway (apart from LML), so if the GTS and the like are shunned, the scene just becomes a 60's & 80's reenactment club |

how dare they even THINK about shunning ANY of US, we're about as scooterist as you can get
if that does happen it'll start going to single make / single model / single colour / all original fittings / one owner/ no mileage / trailered everywhere gatherings, how muppety sad
