speedo cable's snapped, little bastard. i suppose this one lasted longer than my aprilia ones. i only got 5 k out of those ones.
water had gotten into it and rusted the cable away inside.
oh well. looks like i'm gonna have to have the thing apart AGAIN. its the 3rd time this week i've had it apart...... _________________ revolution deathsquad! |

i've gone through 2 in a year
you have to take headset front off and horncover and thats about it
needle still a bit wobbly between 30 and 40 but that dont matter as long as i tells me how fast i'm going usally between 60 and 70 on my way to work
that is untill i 210 in a few weeks with gear up kit _________________ POGUE MAHONE SC

How steady should the speedo needle be?
I've only had my GTS for a couple of weeks and am wondering if I should get the speedo looked at at the first service.
The needle is steady above 50mph, but below that it wobbles up and down.
For example when cruising at about 30mph it rapidy flicks between 28 and 33 mph.
It is a case of they're all like that? |
