HAD 2 SCORPION PIPES IN THE LAST 6 MNTHS BOTH HAVE BURNED OUT FIRST WAS A STAINLESS THE NEXT WAS A TITANIAM ONE THAT HAS ONLY BEEN FITTED FOR TWO WEEKS.IT HAS ONLE DONE KELSO AN BACK. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WOT THE PM PIPES ARE LIKE.

Much much better, designed for the GTS rather than cobbled together from a parts bin. The PM is very loud though and not road legal!

Listened to a few at Kelso , didn't think they were THAT loud.
Do they make any performance difference ?

i put the scorpion on and the fuel modual it only gave 1hp extra. but it got there faster on takeoff heard a pm not a great differance in noise

Mine has got a bit of baffle rattle now so probably needs a looking at..........but then again it is 18mths old and has a few K on it

mines all good. i had 2 scorpions as well. theyre absolute crap mate. both lasted me about 2 weeks as well.
ive now got a pm and im happy. it is LOUD though.

Its all swings and round abouts, and a lot down to who fits them... if fitted with any tension they can fail...
PM pipes look fantastic, but the amount ive seen on things like Runners and Dragsters that have snapped and fallen apart, i wouldnt say they are fail proof...
If i was buying one for a GTS i would probably go for the PM though... just not a fan of the nasty gold bracket and it makes the swingarm look ugly as the original pipe covers it quite well. |

the scorp sounds like a mini harley.
the pm sounds like a wasp doing a massive wet fart through a trombone.
is that a good noise comparison?  
ive had both and the pm is 100% better than the scorp, the scorp cannot cope with the extreme heat from the gts running mega lean becuase of the euro 3 emissions thing. the welds just crack inside and then it starts to spit wool out at the cars behind you, then the badge falls off, then it gets louder and louder.
is the pm tuning module the ONLY thing that can stop the gts running super lean?
