basically on my runner the coolant pipe from the radiator to the head split, i found it hard to get a replacement and its in loads of bends and stuff

i went to the local car place and got a bit of hose. fitted it all on so the pipes basically straight

only trouble was putting the panels back on the fit but they make the pipe bend more then it should have done and it slightly kinks on the bend only slightly

i have ridden 30 miles to work and back and the tempreture is actually better now as it doesnt rise as 2quickly when your in traffic

am i playing with fire here and am i seriousely going to come upstuck.

if the coolant isnt forced through with so much force it needs all the pipe then it should be ok. i gave it a thrash for a minute at 80mph and the needle never moved

i have noticed that the old pipe in places gets smaller anyway

what do you reckon??

just use it and keep a good eye on it until your replacement pipe arrives.......

you have ordered a replacement pipe express delivery haven't you??

i'd hate to have coolant pipe come off and shower me in boiling anti freeze Embarassed

nope nothings been ordered. this was the repair

it wont come off im just worried about restricting flow
