Thought this might be of interest to anyone that wants an MP3 or Fuoco but hasn't passed their bike test (but has a car driving licence). I have rang the bloke coz my mate is in that situation (wants a Fuoco but doesn't want the ag of the bike test), he is just waiting for SVA formal approval (whatever that means) but already has 3 Fuoco on the road. With it being a trike, most bike insurers wont touch it, but there are a few trike specialist like adrian flux who will.

All you need to do is add wheel spacers to the front and get it reclassified with dvla...

as someone in the trade, getting it reclassified with dvla may be easy, but how does the average joe go about doing this?

Do I remember reading a post about a fight with a foreign toll operator wanting to charge an MP3 rider as a trike rather than let him pass free as a bike?

Can imagine this reclassification trick causing some issues for folks going on rallies - two Fugly riders showing Sergaent Frenchy documents where the same vehicle is both a trike and a bike :/

Or would that kinda thing be 'normal' to anyone in the transport business?

Right here is the deal

front wheels need to be spaced 6 mm each
you need hazards that work when the ignition is off(Fuoco ones don't)
You need a switchable rear fog light

then it's a trike!!! Wink
