Do GTS's hit the same problem's at roughly the same mileage?
This would be helpful for all new owner's to get the most out of their warrenty.
My 05 has done 16ooo miles and when I corner and excelerate it feel's like I'm on wet grass, the back end seem's to go out.
Something's gone-but i'm not sure what?

engine mounts dude.

mine did exactly the same thing at, you guessed it, 15,000 miles.

and also, check the rear shocks. mine were alright but sometimes they cause similar symptoms.

dealer, i'm a lazy git. i jsut can't be arsed taking it apart that much anymore. i'll do all the easy stuff like roller changes, belt changes, rear tyre changes and maybe the valves if i'm in a good mood.

i used to have access to jacks and allsorts but now i dont so i can't really do major stuff anymore.

to replace the engine mounts you have to drop the engine and use a jack to jack the frame of the scoot off the ground. away from the engine. you NEED a motorcycle lift to do it.

yeah its quite an anoyying job. just take it to your dealer, is it in warranty?

when i had mine done it took him about an hour and a half to do it. he only charged me an hour's labour though.

Cheer's for the advice suit scoot,no longer under warranty but i'm quite happy to pay someone to sort it for me,i've done PX bushes before but to be honest i'd rather support the local scooter shop this time and let them do it.

I've booked in at Kettering QRS to have mount's changed,I'll post how much it cost so you know, part's and 2 hr's labour should be just under £200 i reckon.
