Rotterdam is about 189 miles from calais,
might the return ferry be a bit early as it gonna take a good 3hrs or so to get to ferry port, means u gonna have to leave campsite about 8am Shocked

Sorry for adding my sixpennies worth but I do think you are pushing it to make return ferry even though the roads are fast they are still tricky and can lead to taking the wrong exits........Holland is the worst. Taking in stopping for fuel, tolls checking in etc you'd have to average 63mph if you left at 8am so you'd be tight on times.

Also P&O are feckers for charging you if you miss the ferry or want to catch another one.......I got stung for an extra £22 last weekend as I wanted to take an earlier ferry !!

last time i looked harwich / hook of holland worked out about £100 and of course you miss out on some good scooter riding Wink
