|
|
Once again the GTs250 has proved a faithful friend; Maidstone to Kelso via Morpeth, Berwick, Dunbar and Bonnybridge (Falkirk) without missing a beat.
Have top say that the Scottish No1 committee put on a top weekend (apart from Neville Staple who I thought was shite!) and should be applauded for their efforts.
The ride home wasn't the most enjoyable given the high winds as I travelled through Yorkshire but the Gts got me the 368 miles from the campsite to my front door in just seven hours - top stuff!
Managed to cover a grand total of 1093 miles over the weekend - now sitting on a rubber ring to let the arse recover though

Cobbler: Think you must be the guy that was riding down the A1 with Grinner on his Norman Wisdom Lammy on Sunday. Glad you and your son got home OK, that cross wind was a nightmare for the next 150 miles - and then it started lashing it down! A memorable trip home indeed!!!
Innocenti: The burger bar is about three yards inside England - that little stone plinth with the bollards is the actual border just outside Berwick. That was obviously taken on the way up when, for reasons only known to God and my retarded brain, I had decided to ride the entire length of the A1 just because it was a challenge to do so - never again though!!
Not doing the Isle of Bute rally, although I'd really love to, as it's the same weekend as the Shed Rally in Southend.
The choice was hard though; 400+ miles and a another sore arse or 60 miles and loads of Shed Babes with their tits out - and King Kurt! Hmmm...... |

i have to say kelso was another top rally, but i have to agree that neville staple was pants. One down part was a guy behinde my tent got his scooter nicked in the early hours,he loaded the scooter up in his van and left but luckily the police gave chase and caught the guy! unfortunately he rolled the van with the scooter inside,he got his scoot back although it was very dented.I though we'd seen the last of these thieving scumbags? |

Somebody had to keep MaDge company as he attempted to get this 'creation' ready for the rally...
Sadly (Glady!), he failed to get the T5 ready in time... |
