Was on my way to Kelso when i realised that a had a huge egg on my rear tyre.
And before you all start, no it wasn't an Ostrich egg
Dont quite know how it happened but obviously couldn't go any further called the breakdown took me to a garage and they put another tyre on.
Which is by the looks of it some other cheap nasty tyre, when i have time will get 2 of the best money can buy put on.

So be warned about Sava tyres..!!!

There was almost a stunt team started within our club with Sava tyres, plenty of low speed crashes where front tyres just slipped away in the wet usually, Savas? Id rather have angry wasps up my arse! Shocked Ps what tyre was put on for you?

Think Sava must be working for Pirelli as well; the tyres that came as standard on my GTs were crap in the rain and made cornering in the wet an experience!
Got Pilot Sports now and they just feel far more confident in all weathers

Does a merkin mean the same thing for you as it does for us? (Australia)

They aint that bad, just take a lot of warming up, which people dont and then blame the tyre. Wet weather is also a little weak point as they really take getting heat into them then... Its just a shame the 12" tyre market is so small at the minute, lots of cheaper branded stuff, but not many big name brands have decent ranges out.

A lot also boils down to riding style and what you want from the tyre, pilot sports are raved about on here and various other forums but i aint a great fan, find the grip is good, even the wear aint that bad, but the feedback from the road isnt too good, and thats what i would rather have.

If its the factory fitted Sava which i guess it is, and the bikes still under warranty then you couldve got it replaced free as long as the tread was still legal.
