repaced mine a couple of weeks back,

got it from a vespa dealer, had to buy a complete one as they didn't have a inner cable, only used the inner thou

you have to take the front head set off then its the same as a trad vespa, unscrew the nut from bottom of speedo and pull out broken cable do the same at the wheel end then put new inner cable in then put back together

There's a procedure for doing it on the ModernVespa site with pictures. Basically, take the mirrors off, prise off badge on horncover and remove the screw. Remove horncover by lifting it upwards with handlebars on full left lock, and disconnect the wiring plug. Remove the screw under the headlamp (be careful not to drop it or it disappears down the legshields, use a rag to cover gap between handlebars and legshields), and one screw each side rear of handlebars (one by horn button, the other on throttle side). Pull front of handlebar/headset unit forward, but BE VERY CAREFUL, as there are plastic tabs which can break. Disconnect headlight plug, and you're done !
